PocketFinder contributed to a number of incredible causes this past month. We highlighted our participation in the Carmel 9/11 “Resolve & Remembrance” Memorial, which raised funds for the FireFighter’s fund.
We’d like to share another cause with you. The Zeta Beta Tau “Get on the Ball” event raised money and awareness for the Children’s National Medical Center. We were very happy to contribute.
March 19, 2012 was a powerful day. A day to once again honor the first responders who sacrificed everything on September 11th, 2001. It was a day of “Resolve and Remembrance.” Resolve to continue to honor all who sacrificed and to continue to teach about the events of 9/11 and Remembrance to never forget what happened on that day in New York that impacted the entire United States of America.
The holiday season is a wonderful time of year. It is the time when we focus on the joys of giving and the gratitude of someone else’s generosity. This is a time of year when people consider the different ways they can contribute to causes outside of gift giving within their immediate family.
The world is full of amazing organizations, charities and individuals who volunteer to make them possible. We start to see more of these individuals amongst the chaos of holiday shopping. They take time to stand outside of stores and announce the cause they are fighting for.
