Why PocketFinder Vehicle?
It is a small single unit device that has no external antennae, on/off switch and it has a backup battery that provides power on a permanent basis. PocketFinder® Vehicle is designed to be used as GPS tracking devices for automobiles and other vehicles. Back To Top

How do I install my PocketFinder Vehicle device?
At purchase you choose which option is best for you. Standard is a hard wire connection to your engine battery or to an “always on” fuse. We also offer a cigarette lighter plug in power option. Do I need to charge my PocketFinder Vehicle?
No. It has an internal backup battery that will allow the device to continue to locate in the event it loses fulltime power. Back To Top
Will the PocketFinder Vehicle work anywhere?
Just as with any mobile phone service, there are some areas in which the carrier does not provide full coverage. However, most populate areas are covered and coverage continues to grow. Click the link to see the most recent coverage map. Back To Top
Will my PocketFinder Vehicle work in the garage or in an underground structure?
The PocketFinder needs to have a reasonable view of the sky. PocketFinder cannot guarantee the quality of the GPS connection level in a garage or underground structure.Back To Top
How can I locate my PocketFinder Vehicle device?
Our system will allow you to locator your device(s) through 3 ways: via the internet; via your web-enabled mobile phone or from one of our mobile apps.Back To Top
Can the PocketFinder Vehicle device be turned off?
No. As long as the device has power and you have network coverage you will be able to locate it. The device has no on/off buttons so it can’t accidentally be turned off. Back To Top
What is the accuracy of the PocketFinder Vehicle device’s location?
Under most circumstances the identified location on our internet mapping service will be within 10 feet of the vehicle’s actual location. Back To Top
Why do I have to active the PocketFinder Vehicle device?
It’s important for you to activate your device so that it can be registered in our database and on the GSM wireless network. The activation process from our website includes defined steps so you can customize your account by naming the device, defining how you want to receive notifications and even adding a personalized picture to represent that device.
